From “Gettin’ in the Zone Hats” to weekly trainings, RESOURCE is honored to announce it is one of the 125 Best Places to Work in Indiana!
RESOURCE is celebrating its second consecutive year as a Best Places to Work recipient. Sam Smith, CEO / Principal and Chairman says, “Receiving the Best Places to Work Award for two consecutive years, shows the dedicated team that encompasses RESOURCE. Our Core Values: Productivity, Accountability, Growth and Excellence demonstrate that we are big enough to get the job done and small enough to care. Our company culture of friendly, caring employees, who genuinely help each other in all departments, makes coming to work anything but mundane.”
“After 14 years of the program, it’s great to see such continued growth and new interest,” offers Indiana Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kevin Brinegar. “We are encouraged by employers embracing the importance of self-evaluation combined with employer feedback and then utilizing that information to further strengthen their organization.”
In addition, to receiving the award, RESOURCE also gains an evaluation showing strengths and weaknesses from the information filled out by RESOURCE employees. This feedback from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce “can be used in developing and enhancing employee retention and recruitment programs.”
According to the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, “The Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey consists of approximately 78 statements that employees respond to along with two open-ended and seven demographic questions. This survey makes up the other 75% of the overall score.”
As listed on the Indiana Chamber of Commerce website, the following are analyzed and categorized with the results of 8 Core Focus Areas:
- Leadership and Planning
- Corporate Culture and Communications
- Role Satisfaction
- Work Environment
- Relationship with Supervisor
- Training, Development and Resources
- Pay and Benefits
- Overall Engagement
Stan Collesano, President and COO of RESOURCE validates RESOURCE’s Mission, “To make a meaningful difference in the lives of our employees, clients and community.” Collesano once ended an All-Company Monthly Meeting encouraging all employees with gratitude for their hard work and dedication in all areas to meet our client’s needs. Collesano believes, “Our All-Company Monthly Meetings are a way to connect our various departments keeping everyone in the loop. The “Kudos Jar,” where employees can say “a thanks” to a fellow co-worker, helps show team spirit and team appreciation.”
