CNO Financial hired the RESOURCE Team, to dispose of its properties at the highest price and shortest time possible. Led by Sam Smith, the RESOURCE Team implemented their Sealed Bid - Accelerated Marketing Strategy to create maximum property exposure in the shortest time possible. Multiple “fair market” offers were generated for every property. RESOURCE created a very competitive bid situation -- yielding top market pricing -- in a timely manner. The Leasing Team led by Paul Dick, created value for the 105,000 SF building, raising occupancy from 3% to 82%. The Team also identified a large corporate user that was expanding in the area.

Results

All four of the sale transactions, along with multiple lease deals, closed successfully which turned assets that were costing CNO Financial thousands of dollars in maintenance into millions of dollars in equity/liquidity surplus that they redeployed in their core business.
