Due to acquisitions and significant growth, Apex had outgrown its existing headquarters space. The company had 26 employees before the expansion and planned to create approximately 25 additional jobs during the next five years, as well as commencing an ongoing training initiative for employees. Apex engaged Brian Wahl of RESOURCE to examine the option of expanding its headquarter offices in Indianapolis or relocating to a new corporate office operation and to lead the incentives procurement process.
Brian worked closely with company executives to examine multiple expansion scenarios and costs. He also negotiated with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and the City of Indianapolis (Develop Indy) to procure tax credits and incentive assistance.
