The 3rd quarter of 2017 has marked another exceptional quarter in the Indianapolis Industrial market with over 1.6 million SF in newly delivered product along with many new projects breaking ground. The net absorption remains positive again with 403,689 SF, bringing the YTD net absorption to more than 1.5 million SF. The vacancy rate increased for the third straight quarter-almost climbing up an entire point from last quarter’s 3.92% to 4.91%. Construction remains very active in the Indianapolis market with 6.19 million SF underway along with several projects expected to be complete by the end of 2017. Notable deliveries this quarter include Green Park II 702,000 SF building in Plain eld and Wurth’s 230,000 SF BTS in Greenwood.
