INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The REALTORS® Land Institute has announced that Michael Horrigan, Vice President, RESOURCE Commercial Real Estate ( of Indianapolis, IN has officially completed the organization’s course Land Investment Analysis on 3/17/2020.  The REALTORS® Land Institute provides the expertise, camaraderie, and resources that constitute the foundation for all land real estate professionals.

The course focuses on growing the broker’s competency in assisting clients throughout the land investment analysis process. In completing the course, Horrigan has demonstrated the expertise necessary to determine the current value of a property through a calculation that includes the internal rate of return, net present value, and mortgage payment. Topics the course covers include acquisition, operation, and disposition costs and equity.

Horrigan, who has long worked with real estate data, further developed his effectiveness in analyzing and evaluating data, including highest performance indicators, multipliers and ratios, rate of return, and more. These skills convert into valuable service to Horrigan’s clients, as he advises on the best use of a property.
